Conditions of booking
Reservations:
We accept reservations by telephone, e mail, facsimile, or in writing but these must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. The hotel will forward written confirmation of your booking which you should check and advise us if any details are incorrect.
Deposit:
For all reservations must be confirmed and guaranteed with a £50.00 deposit charged to your credit / debit card at the time of booking. This is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation and will be taken off your final balance at the end of your stay.
Reservations and Cancellations:
Regretfully we must charge 75% of the value of your booking for bookings cancelled within 14 days (28 days for 3 rooms or more) of proposed arrival.
However, we will only do this if we are unable to re-let the room. The charge of 75% of the quoted price from the tariff for the entire stay will be debited from your card. This also applies to cancellations due to sickness of children. We strongly urge you to take out appropriate cancellation insurance, especially for longer stops. If you have to cancel your reservation, you must confirm it in writing to us. Please note that a booking amendment or curtailment of stay will be treated in the same way as a cancellation. If your reservation is made within 14 days of arrival, you will automatically be in the cancellation period. No refunds will be given for failing to take up any component included in the price of your holiday, including meals.
Cancellations of bookings made through Synxis or other booking engines need to be cancelled or amended through the same channels as the booking was made. We are unfortunately unable to do this on your behalf.
Booking Amendments Outside Cancellation Period:
Outside the cancellation period, the hotel will do its utmost to comply with any request for an amendment to a booking made after the booking has been confirmed. This will not always be possible, however, if the new dates interrupt the need for longer stays. (This mainly refers to high season periods).
Changes to published Details:
Occasionally it may be necessary to amend prices, facilities or services and the times that they are offered.
Method of Payment:
We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, excluding diners card. Payment by cheque is accepted by prior arrangement.
