Bears Den…
Supervised fun and games for the ‘littlies’ in The Bears Den include painting, cooking, face-painting, hand and leaf painting, flower pot painting, glass painting, t-shirt painting, cress heads, masks, calendars, card and puppet making and so much more. Always stocked with all sorts of toys and activities, The Den is heaven for younger children.

Other facilities…
For older children, there’s an air hockey machine, tabletop football and board games. There’s also an Xbox. Outside, there’s children's croquet, outdoor table tennis, football nets and a trampoline, as well as a great outdoor adventure playground. Toys and games are also stored, as in many homes, under the stairs,

Just like home…
It’s not long before the children have worked out the lay of the house and grounds and are enjoying their own activities. The grounds at The Elms offer a safe and fun environment for children and fresh air is the order of the day. You won’t find any “no ball games” signs at The Elms. From the croquet lawn to the front of the hotel to the tennis court at the rear, The Elms is a rural idyll for children of all ages.

Baby sitting and Listening Services
Mum and Dad will also be pleased to hear that every single bedroom is fitted with state of the art baby listening technology, allowing complete relaxation and enjoyment safe in the knowledge that children are tucked up in bed. We can also arrange baby sitters with prior notice.

Baby Equipment
We provide cots, z-beds, high chairs, changing mats, nappy buckets, sterilisers and bottle warming.
